Coal mining is common in the Southeast.  Most of the coal is mined in the Appalachian Mountains.

In the Southeast they fish for lobsters.  The lobsters are used for food.

Florida provides more than half of the oranges in the United States.

Marlins are one type of fish they catch in the Southeast.

Mississippi provides over 50% of the United States oysters.  The oysters are very expensive.

Oysters fishing is well known in the Southeast.  They eat and enjoy the oysters.

The Southeast makes a lot of wooden furniture.  They get the wood from their forests.

Red Snappers are another fish they catch in the Southeast.  Many People eat them.
